Immersed in the typical bucolic landscape of the Tuscan Maremma, in the ancient medieval village of Monte Antico, a fraction of the municipality of Civitella Paganico, Art & Garden offers five beautiful apartments with swimming pool and private villa, a dream place ideal for families with children, both for younger couples. A relaxing holiday in which nature is the undisputed protagonist of the scene, the one in which the Country House and Art end Garden fits is undoubtedly one of the most enchanting landscapes in the region: long stretches of vineyards alternate with cultivated fields in Ulivo but just drive a few kilometers and wait for you you will also find the picturesque ancient villages of the Maremma area of ​​Grosseto and luxuriant spas. The small town of Monte Antico is the main attraction and the most suggestive place where this fabulous Country House was born and has its roots. The small village rises on the heights of the hills that surrounded by the Ombrone river which extend between the cities of Grosseto and Siena. The town boasts an elegant medieval style, which is well told by its historic castle, an ancient fortification of rare beauty which after becoming a coveted spoils of war in the struggle between the noble families of Salimbeni and Tolomei, was the latter to grab the castle and gave it the look we still admire today. In this small and historic village of the Maremma today it is possible to spend pleasant holidays immersed in nature. The Art & Garden apartments, in fact, were obtained from some of the buildings that, together with the castle, made up the entire village. In the past, in addition to the castle itself, there was the ancient Church of San Tommaso Apostolo, a church that has been deconsecrated today and has been converted into a location for events; the old guard’s house, which today houses some of the available apartments, and other buildings where the castle’s servants and workers housed. Art & Garden offers its guests five apartments with shared swimming pool, with attention to every detail designed for the needs of each client. In addition, this Country House also has a precious villa with private swimming pool, located near the village of Monte Antico, in Tuscany. The Art and Garden structure consists of the four independent Amaryllis apartments located inside an ancient stone farmhouse, in the past the castle guardian’s house, surrounded by a delightful garden. The Il Borgo apartment, on the other hand, is a building on the edge of the ancient village, from which you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Maremma landscape.All the apartments have been renovated and are equipped with all comforts: heating, stove, electric oven, dishes, washing machine and everything you need to spend your holidays feeling right at home. The views overlook the Tuscan Maremma countryside, where the Brunello di Montalcino vineyards stand out, the Ombrone river valley and, in the distance, it is also possible to admire the slopes of Monte Amiata.
